What is Biotin and how long does it take work?

  • This is Biotin and it takes this long.

How do you get white hair?

  • Bleach your hair (it will most likely need to be done more than once) and then use a toner.

What’s toner? 

  • Toner is tinted slightly purple or blue and is used to cancel out the yellow or brassiness in your hair. Use purple for white hair and blue for gray or silver. 

How do you get pastel hair?

  • Lighten your hair to a white or very light blonde and use a pastel dye. If the dye you’re using isn’t pastel, mix it with a conditioner and apply that instead. The more conditioner you add, the lighter the dye. The more dye, the brighter the colour.  
What does “Low and Slow” mean?
  • Going Low and Slow means using a volume 20 bleach and developer over a period of a few weeks rather than a volume 40 in one weekend. 

When did you start dyeing your hair and how many times have you done it?

  • I started when I was twelve and I usually dye every month or so, so… I’m not even sure of the exact number.

What is the Dyehard of the Week and how does it work?

  • The Dyehard of the Week is the opportunity for someone’s hair, our “Dyehard”, to be showcased for a week. 
  • Every Friday night I post the three submissions* with the highest number of notes from that week (Friday - Thursday). For two days people vote for their favourite hair and the winner appears on the Dyehard of the Week page for, as the title suggest, one week.
  • *If you post multiple submissions and they have the three highest number of notes, the one with the most notes will be used and the two people after you will be added to the voting in lieu of your other submissions. This is to give everyone a chance to be in the running. 

Why do you tags some things as “nudity”?

  • I reblog some risqué photos and I usually don’t think twice about it but some people are offended by them, find them to be very inappropriate, or simply don’t want to see them so I tag any full or partial nudity as “nudity” so they can easily be blocked if someone does not want them to appear on their dashes.

Promote me?

  • I do promotions whenever it suits my fancy. Those include my promotion contests, a hair blog I’d like to recommend, or another blog I follow that I’d like to share with you. Please don’t ask for a promotion if I have no idea who you are.

How many members does this blog have?

  • Just me. That’s why some days I hardly post anything. Terribly sorry, but I would just rather continue by myself. I know that everything is exactly the way I want if I run it on my own. 

Do you care what I submit? Boy/girl, style/colour?

  • Submit anything! As long as you read the guidelines, I will not not post something because of the person or hair. 

Well then why wasn’t my submission posted?

  • You didn’t read the guidelines.

I asked a question and you replied privately but from a different blog. What?

  • This blog is just added to my personal, I didn’t make a separate account. 

Do you follow back?

  • No. Like I said, this is just an additional blog. I can’t.

Some pictures are Photoshoped.

  • Yep. I know which ones are too. I spend enough time on Photoshop myself, I can tell right away. The point of this blog is to give you advice and inspiration. I have, and will continue to, post the same hairstyle more than once, just with different colours in the hopes that one of them would inspire someone.

Why do you talk weird?

  • When my family and I finally figure that out, I’ll be sure to tell you.
